We are very glad to announce and welcome a new partner for DomusBITaa consortium: Søren Brier / Copenhagen Business School (Denmark)

For most of you, no presentation is needed, for the rest Søren Brier is professor in the Semiotics of Information, Cognitive and Communication Science at Copenhagen Business School's new department of International Culture and Communication Studiesattached to the Centre for Language, Cognition, and Mentality.

He is the editor in chief of Cybernetics and human knowing and the author of the famous book Cybersemiotics. Why information is not enough. University of Toronto Press, 2008.

Support updates

We have presented a support proposal for first stages development at the Spanish National Institute for Communication Technologies (Inteco). The project includes the development of a demonstrator housing SoII and FIS and support for first working meetings. We might concrete the support within next weeks.

A similar proposal will also be presented in a month to the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation for support: 1) in first stages, and 2) for FP7 proposal preparation.

Dissemination updates

ICTs&Society Network has offered us a Panel for public presentation and discussion of the initiative in the annual meeting that will be held in Barcelona next July.
